Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have an age greater than or equal to 17 years to apply for MBBS in Nepal. The students below this age can not apply for enrollment.
- The students must have completed his/her 12th education with Chemistry, English, Physics, and Biology as core subjects
- In addition to this, he/she must have cleared all the subjects with at least 50% of marks in all the subjects and must secure more than 50% as aggregate in the main subjects.
- Candidates must also clear the NEET exam for admission to MBBS in Nepal.

The National Medical Education Act has envisioned the common entrance exam to be conducted by the Medical Education Commission.

Internship Period
The Internship period is for twelve months. This is practical training provided to undergraduate medical students. This internship is meant for the clinical practice which every medical student needs to undergo. The hands-on training makes them eligible to administer medicines and perform certain surgeries. Without this internship, the MBBS degree from any country is not valid. The medical internship in Nepal is open to all ages. There will be a massive scope of work in Nepal during and after the internship. The junior doctors will assist doctors and learn from them. There will be workshops during the internship period.

MBBS Admission Process
- Admission to the MBBS course is done on the basis of the Common Entrance Exam
- Indian students have to qualify for NEET-UG also
- Candidates have to qualify for the Common Entrance Exam.
- The CEE is conducted in January
- After the students qualify for the entrance test, they can apply for the MBBS course by visiting the online portal of the medical colleges and universities
- They have to upload scanned copies of all necessary documents such as mark sheets, NEET scorecards, etc.
