NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Announced: Exam on 21st June
NTA announces NEET UG 2026 re-examination on 21 June 2026. Check exam timing, city preference update dates, admit card details, and important official guidelines.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the new date for the NEET (UG) 2026 Re-Examination. According to the latest notification released by NTA, the NEET UG 2026 exam will now be conducted on 21st June 2026 (Sunday).

The examination will be held for admission to undergraduate medical courses across India.

NEET UG 2026 Exam Timing

The exam timing will be:

  •  2:00 PM to 5:15 PM (IST)

The duration includes the time required for examination formalities as well.

Exam Mode & Languages

NEET UG 2026 will be conducted in:

  • Pen & Paper Mode (Offline)
  • Across various cities in India and abroad

The exam will be available in 13 languages.

  • Assamese
  • Bengali
  • English
  • Gujarati
  • Hindi
  • Kannada
  • Malayalam
  • Marathi
  • Odia
  • Punjabi
  • Tamil
  • Telugu
  • Urdu

City Preference Update Window Open

NTA has also opened a correction window for students who want to update their present address or preferred examination city due to a location change.

Candidates can update:

  • Present Address
  • 1st Preferred Exam City
  • 2nd Preferred Exam City

 Update Window:

  • 15 May 2026 to 21 May 2026 (Till 11:50 PM)

Students can make these changes through the official NEET website.

Important Instructions for Candidates

NTA has clearly mentioned a few important points for students:

  • No fee will be charged for updating the address or exam city preference.
  • No other corrections in the application form will be allowed.
  • Students who do not update their city preference will retain their previous city choice.
  • No requests for changes will be accepted after 21st May 2026.

  • Result Declaration

will be announced later on the official NTA website.
